Postman $.99

This app is another thorn in my side. I had the idea for this app back in November, but unfortunately, we had other things we wanted to get done first. I don't want you to think I'm only saying this application is useless because we want you to buy ours (since we still intend on making it). I'm saying this application is useless because it flat out is. Before I get to the bad, there are some things that this app does nicely. It does have some very simple photo effects that you can apply to your images, the graphics and UI look very nice, and they do provide some mediocre stock photos. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. The lack of explanation for the interface leaves you pressing every single button a few times before you figure out the right way to use the application, and even though the stock photos are nice, I feel as though that defeats the purpose of creating a postcard. I know I haven't vacationed in a while, but the last time I looked at a postcard rack it was full of photos from the place I was. It's as if people want to share a picture of their travels...interesting. The worst part of this application is the font of the postcard text. Although you can change font-faces and color, the font list is very boring and full of fonts seldom used on actual postcards, and the type always remains in the very center of the postcard. Now I'm not a photo expert either, but I'm pretty sure the focal point of many vacation pictures is either a family standing in the center of the frame, or a family standing in front of a large object that is in the center of the frame. Sure it works for the empty landscape photos, but most photos tend to have an object of great importance in the center of the photo, leaving this application useless
